T-minus 4 weeks to the exam. I'm just trying to get this done.
- Coming up with a good hockey stop progression
- Studying the CAP model
- Rethinking my intro bumps without bumps lesson
- Rethinking a short radius turn progression

I asked the Liberty brain trust about short rad turns on Sunday. They all looked at me like I had grown three heads! Upon further clarification that I was looking for help breaking it down and knowing what drills to use, Wiz suggested starting with pivot slips. Duh! Why didn't I think of that??
ReplyDeleteI have more of a focus to my exam prep now, so maybe I'll use this as a forum to solicit input, too.
I would also use garlands with lots of "schmear" and then with edge and then with a blend. Just so they get the feel of a rounded turn. Usually it is more successful to teach this uphill, for starters, as opposed to downhill.
